You can choose your title company, no one can make you use a certain one.

There are two sides to a closing, buyer side and seller side. Each side can close at a different title company or the same one.

At closing you will receive an explanation of closing fees and an explanation of each document you sign. There could be lots of documents to sign at closing. Allow an hour in your schedule.

Your closing could take 15-60 minutes depending on the type of transaction and your questions.

Bring your identification: Driver’s License and one other form, just in case.

If you need to bring funds for closing, be sure it is certified funds and make the check payable to America’s One Title.

Prior to closing we may ask for important documents such as death certificates, certificates of trust, divorce decree or homeowner’s association information. We need these to verify someone’s ability to sign, obtain release of interests and/or to protect the integrity of the parties involved.
